Mithila Nexus is a small studio of designers and engineers in Janakpurdham. We work with businesses here in Madhesh, across Nepal and abroad — and we put our name on everything we ship.
(01) Why we exist
Mithila has been a place of makers for more than two thousand years. The women of this region painted walls for weddings and festivals with bamboo twigs and natural pigment — every line deliberate, every space filled with meaning.
We started Mithila Nexus because we believe that same care belongs on the web. Too many businesses here are handed a template and a bill. We give them what the painters gave their walls: something made by hand, for them, that nobody else has.
(02) Our visual language
Every line means something.
Our identity borrows from Madhubani painting — each motif carries a meaning we try to live up to.
Machh — the fish
Fertility and good fortune. It is our mark: every project starts with a wish that it flourishes.
Kamal — the lotus
Beauty that grows from mud. Great design comes from understanding messy, real problems.
Surya — the sun
Energy and clarity. We keep things visible — scope, cost, progress — at every step.
